CallHome Overview |
The TR-2100 provides some unique features that are of great
benefit to a company that wants to reduce there data buffer
maintenance costs.

The TR-2100 can be configured to send a scheduled status (HeartBeat)
packet to a central server over the internet. This packet includes
important information about the health and status of the TR-2100.
This information can be used to proactively support your data
buffers in the field.
The TR-2100 can also be configured to connect to the ZooKeeper
Configuration Utility (CallHome) running on a remote PC over
the internet. This function allows for maintenance of a remote
TR-2100 over the internet, without requiring the customer to
make any firewall changes.
